This Payout Policy explains how artists earn and receive payments through MusicBusiness Arena.
Artist Earnings
Artists may earn revenue from music downloads purchased through MusicBusiness Arena.
Earnings are calculated after applicable platform fees, payment processing fees, chargebacks, disputes, and other authorized deductions.
Platform Commission
MusicBusiness Arena currently retains a 10% platform commission on completed music download sales.
Platform commissions may be updated in the future and any changes will be communicated through the platform.
Payment Processing Fees
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
Applicable payment processing fees may be deducted before artist earnings are calculated.
Artist Payout Account
Artists are responsible for maintaining accurate payout information, including bank account details, payment accounts, and any required verification information.
Payout Schedule
Artist payouts are generally processed on a weekly basis, subject to platform review, payment processing timelines, and account standing.
Minimum Payout Threshold
Artists must accumulate a minimum balance of $20.00 before a payout can be issued.
Balances below the minimum payout threshold will remain in the artist account until the threshold is reached.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a customer disputes a transaction, files a chargeback, or if fraudulent activity is detected, MusicBusiness Arena reserves the right to withhold, deduct, or reverse earnings associated with the disputed transaction.
Taxes
Artists are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and fulfilling any tax obligations related to earnings received through MusicBusiness Arena.
MusicBusiness Arena does not provide tax advice. Artists are encouraged to consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual tax responsibilities.
Where required by law, applicable sales taxes, VAT, or similar taxes may be collected from customers during checkout.
Account Suspension
MusicBusiness Arena reserves the right to delay or withhold payouts if an account is under investigation for fraud, copyright infringement, policy violations, suspicious activity, or other legitimate business reasons.
Changes to this Policy
MusicBusiness Arena may update this Payout Policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised policy.
